Damage Responsibility Agreement
The renter is 100% responsible for any damages to the boat or equipment while in your possession
Upon return and prior to re-rental, we will check over the boat and equipment for any damages. We will retain and apply the deposit to the cost of damages. Any overages will be charged to the credit card that was used for the rental transactions immediately. An invoice will be sent to you.
If there are no damages found, the deposit will be refunded, less the cost of fuel
Any boat returned after normal business hours will remain the renter’s responsibility until checked in by Stone Harbor personnel.
If damages result in the inability to re-rent the boat, the renter will be charged with loss of rental income. This charge is the daily rental rate multiplied by how many days the boat remains to be un-rentable.
The renter agrees to rent the boat at their own risk. The renter further agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Stone Harbor Marina from and against, any and all claims of loss, damage to property, injury or death to persons resulting through the use, operation, or possession of the boat being rented.
